Scale ship
« on: June 16, 2015, 07:57:03 AM »
We all know we have the best heli out there, I would love to see a e7 in a airwolf or a jet ranger, long ranger body anyone who make scale ship to fit synergy line. I built a few scale ships in my time, but come out heavy and do fly scale like but a e-5 in a little airwolf would be cool lots of power and very reliable. Just wondering what out there.

Cliff I flew a RC Aerodyne Airwolf at IRCHA last year with E5 mechanics. Not hard to do. It flew very well using a mini vbar and head speeds in the 1200 range. Retracts and all!
The stretch tail boom needed to be shortened just a bit. I still have the fuse but the E5 was re tasked. I need to get that back together!

Cheers

No it actually balanced out pretty well. Had to mount the pack forward a good bit though. The landing gear does need a bit of beefing up though. It will get back in the air eventually.
