Rubber Canopy Grommet Set

I have order like 2 to 3 sets of the white Rubber Canopy Grommet they keep spilting apart .
I see there are some black ones do they do the same thing?

the last set I order the picture show black ones when they come in the mail they where white ones I was bumed!

Make sure you are sizing the hole big enough, if to small, it can cut them. Merry Christmas,

I did not know about sizing the canopy holes? There was nothing in the manual about that?
what size hole is that?

It has a Note in the upper left corner page 45 regarding "canopy to main gear rub" I always relieve the hole just a touch to make sure there isn't any preload on the canopy, it being a nitro, certainly will vibrate just a bit as opposed to an electric causing it to chaff/cut into the grommet. See below Matt's quote out of the Tips and Tricks section of the N5C  section on the forum. (Again I enlarge mine just a touch to allow the canopy thumb screw to fit without tension )

If you mount the N5c canopy without modifying the canopy mount holes you will notice there is a small amount of tension to allow for clearance of the main gear. If you do not like the look of the canopy while mounted like this you can trim 2mm of material from each hole to relieve the tension and the main gear will still clear the canopy as long as the trimming is done correctly.
