766 landing gear on N7 mod.

Thanks Chris. Adding the blade washers is a very simple solution to adding rake. Glad others are making use of this mod. Looking forward to an updated part from Synergy.

One of the biggest reasons for using the current N7 skids is weight savings. One of the main reasons the N7 performs the way it does is because the N7 is very light. If you don't mind the added weight of the 766 skids then the change might be for you. I started running the 766 skids with tail blade washers on my N7 as soon as I received the very first sets of prototype 766 skids because they do look more proportional to the size of the N7. I will likely go back to stock because I do not like the added weight. In the future I will try to design a more robust skid which maintains the light weight of the current N7 skid.

Manual changes occur very often, you probably do not notice because the version number never changes. The version number does not change because the link must remain the same. With the newer 766 manual I have started placing the version number on the front page.

You must be referring to manuals other than the N7. I just happen to have a backup of the N7 manual from Feb. 2015 when I assembled my kit. I'd have to say it doesn't look like it was updated "very often".


Nice work on the 766 manual though. It looks great and was a great build.
