I ran mine on two 6s packs wired in series.  Does that count? :)

Seriously though, you'd be pulling massive amps on 6s.  I wouldn't do it.

I've got a older trex 600 that I run 6S on motor castle 1717 esc is castle 100 on 14 tooth so was just woundering if it would work with the E6.

I do not believe the e6 was designed for 6s, really needs 10s or 12s

 Stick with the 10s set up or higher, This heli is much happier and loves high head speeds. Like Darren said to many amps, you won't be sorry!!! Like Putting Regular unleaded in a Ferrari.Just wasn't built for that. ;)

My Current setup as I have all 6s packs ( genace 3800 and 5300 )
So I setup 6s for maiden today an had 3 flights for easy 3D at around
2000-2100 headspeed.

My setup :
6s 3800 or 5300mah
Pyro 650-65 with15T
Hobbywing 120HV
Hyperion phase sensor
Full size VBar with governance turn on

It does everything I can do except a little slower.

Anyone know where I can get a 16t or 17t pinion ? After market ?
Will the TDR pinion work ?

I believe if I can up the headspeed this will be good base 3D machine to learn good collective that will be cool with this very smooth and precise machine even compare to my logo.
