Had a lot of fun with my E5 this summer. thinking of stretching.

I've really improved my flying skills with this machine. Just a joy to fly.

I'm considering stretching it a little over the winter. I'm curious if I just went 606 could I use the 1100kv I have in it? The set up is standard, scorpion 4025 1100, hobbywing 120a esc and mks servos powered with 5000mah 6 cell. I get 5 minutes flight time with the batteries coming down at around 40% give or take. Also would I have to speed up the tail or go with longer blades? Would I even notice the difference?

Larry, please do not use the 1100 motor, Change to 12s and 3600 batteries, you will get much better power and longer flight time. Im running 12s and 626 in my e-5s love to do autos. Cliff

I changed to an 890kv motor, and 8 cell........2 x 4 cell packs.   My flight times vary from 12 minutes down to 7 minutes, depending on which headspeed I run at.  Running 626s.
