Blades and Motor questions??

Matt,

The E7 is designed to run 690's but you've been using 696's , is there enough clearance for 700 (not 710)with 105's?

Also did you try any of the LE big motors like the Scorpion 4525 or the Xera 4530??Wondering if the geartrain can take the mosnter power of these motors??

Hello Epc2,

I think you can get away with 700's and 105's without any issues. I am running 696 and 106 right now. Not sure about the 710's though.

As far as motors, I've tried probably the most powerful one out there. The new KDE 495kv motor. There are zero issues with gear stripping. The main gear is a 12 mm thick, 116t, machined, helical main gear. It runs ultra smooth and is incredibly strong!
