OS 55HZ-R
« on: February 26, 2019, 07:16:29 AM »
Hi I'm using an OS 55HZ-R with Coolpower 30%. My question is since the combination of those two were what we're used for testing is it necessary to change anything with the shimming? I didn't see it suggested in the recommended setup but the videos I've watched say about adding or removing shims with different nitro content.

No shims required, run it stock. That's a great combo; easy to tune and loads of power.

Thanks, this is my first nitro heli. Just going off of videos and they talk about adding shims with 30%. I've got 2 hover flights on it so far, been too windy here. It stumbles going up from idle but I have it real rich. Only 4 minutes per tank and a puddle under where I took off from.

You may be thinking of the 105HZ-R which does need a shim to run 30%.
