Wondering what motor to run. I wanted to try a A50-12L Turnado but checking all my options. I have a HKIII 4035-450 and a Hyperion 4035-500. I could also run a Align 700MX 470. Wondering what others have been running and real life comparisons. Prolly just use a Ice 120 since I have one with what ever motor I use. The rest of the electric stuff will be a Bec Pro run off one of the Gens Ace 6s 4000's (I like a light flying heli) Spektrum 6040 servos (.08 167 oz in) cyclic, BLS251 or JR 8900G on the tail, V-bar 5.2 controlled by Futaba/8FG.

I can't speak for the other motors but the Ice HV's and the Hacker Turnados play very well together. The only downside is that you won't be able to use the V-Bar governor with that configuration. Still, even using just the Castle gov with the Hacker should net you a very smooth, quiet, powerful heli.

I love the Hacker but I'd run the HKIII Scorpion if I was you.

I think I'm going to have to try the HKIII 4035-450 first since I already have it.....no cost!
