E6 Tail blade question
« on: January 13, 2012, 03:23:56 AM »
I've just converted my E7 to an E6 and was wondering if I can still use the 115mm tail blades I already have. There is plenty of clearance between them and the 603 edge blades. I'll probably be running around 2000rpm with brief trips into 2200rpm. Is this safe or do I need to wait until I can get hold of some smaller blades i.e rail 96 or edge 105's.

Thanks for the advice,
Craig.

I think that they will have too much hold and will have to bring the gain down.I would get the Rail 96 tail blades.

Thanks.

I've found a pair of 105 align's that I can use until I get hold of a set of Rail's.

I have 106mm Rails on mine but wouldn't go any bigger.  Also running 2300rpm with no problem.

I would have to agree with Darren and Steff, go for a set of Rail 96mm if you can they are awesome! But i would'nt go above 105/106 as you run the risk of overloading the tail.

Hope this helps

Cheers guys.

I bought a set of Rail 106 on Saturday. I decided to get the 106's so if I like the heli better as an E7 I can change back without wasting money.
