Battery heat shrink
« on: January 20, 2012, 08:57:18 PM »
Anybody know where to purchase/part number the larger heat shrink for lipos? I am running two GENS ACE 5s and want to make them stick packs easier to install/remove..

Also, should I use some sort of tray to place the lipos on before heat shrinking or am I to just heat shrink them. If there are trays where can I get one or two?

I also use the Esprit 4 inch wrap. works great.
for a base plate, I use a carbon plate 2mm. HK sells them , probably McMaster-Carr also.

I use the same clear shrink but no baseplate required.

I have one set that I shrunk together. I also have a set of Hyperion 4200s that I strapped to a Trex 600 pro battery tray. It fits perfect. Just strap the tray down.

Any future packs I buy I will just strap to a tray.
