I answered this on HF too, but welcome to the Synergy forums, lots of great information and helpful people here!

What servo arms/wheels are you using on the swash servos? Sounds to me like you have too much throw. Try moving the balls closer to the servo centers.

AS for the uneven range, when you are on the collective pitch setup tab, the instructions on the left actually tell you to adjust your pitch servo travel in the TX to get equal positive and negative ranges. This will mess with your TX setup, but that is ok. The TX setup is only to teach the system your maxes and your centers. What I do is adjust servo ball distances until I get the positive throw I am looking for, and then move the stick to negative and adjust the low travel range until it matches the high.

Udayan,
I am also building a new N5C and should get to setting up the servos tonight.  I will post my setting.  Right now I have the balls at 11.5mm from center on the servo wheels.  Suggested for flybar is 13mm I believe but the manual does indicate these distances may need to be less depending on the FBL unit to help with the resolution.

I am using a Helicommand Exress.  I just switched to HC on both my E6 and E7.  The numbers were similar to the VBAR's they replaced so if what I come up with works on the Helicommand it shoud be fine for VBAR.  I'll post what I come up with tonight.

Cheers,
Alan

10-10.5 from ball to center is the sweet spot for FBL use on the N5 or N5c. Depending on the Tail Servo and servo horn used the Ball should be at it's outer most hole, Again this may vary with servo used. Futaba 4 star horn and Jr8900g series outer hole.(Tail) servo..  hope this helps..

Thanks Kevin. Didn't get to work on mine last night. I was wondering about the tail servo horn myself. I was going with trial and error on that one.

Cheers

I am running my tail servo ball in the most outer hole on a Futaba 4 point horn. I have tried the next hole in and the the gives out. It dose not do this in a tail slide, but it dose in an ALE slide.

I moved the ball in just to see how it felt around center. It was better, but worse around the out part of the stick. Yes I changed the gain when I moved the ball. But it felt like the tail could not keep up when the heli was falling. Moved it back and added some expo around center and all is good.
