The 4225-550 motor diameter is spec'd at 52.3mm. Sounds like It's a bit to big to fit?

Acording to Matt's spec's "52mm inner frame width" so maybe not!

Yes, Inner Frame is 52mm wide ! There is a lot of option for trusty motor for 10/12S :
-Scorpion 4025-550/630
-Scorpion 4035-530/560
-Quantum 4125-560 (Only 99$)
-KDE/Xera
-Kontronik Pyro 600....

You could add spacers to frame to make it fit, but with so many other good motor choices, why bother

Bummer. I already have the motor and its a shame to not use it. I also have a Quantum 4135 so will go with that. It just adds 60g of weight.
