E5 stretched meets Airwolf..

Well,

 I decided to take one of my E5's and stretch it to a More tame 606 and install it into my AIRWOLF FUSE. This should make a pretty Bad Arss Scale Bird... I already have the Go Slow for the retracts and strobes set up. Pic's will follow soon... there will be plenty of reinforcing to handle some aggressive yet true to form maneuvers. I have a Real Full Size Bell 222B coming in to go through a major inspection.. got the bug now..lol

  Well after countless hours of measuring, Assembly/dis assembly/reassembly and my GURU Tommy Wagner, I  can finally report the E5 Mid Stretch (Airwolf)  Maiden tonight. I was absolutely flawless in regards to NO vibrations and hands off hover. The E5 Frame is angled 4 degrees giving the Main shaft the perfect angle in regards to scale looking. The tricky part was the Tail in regards to the sizing the TT and Boom , was able to get it right the first try. Helps to have a Sheet metal shop as well as CNC machine And a Damn good kit (E5) to work with.lol  I will post Pictures as well as Video very soon. I need to install the Windows and hook up the Flashing Beacons. Far as I can Tell this is the First Synergy used for Scale.. And the E5 was and is the Perfect Platform to use, and yes it is fast!!   I have had this project going for 5 years waiting on the right heli to come along and The E5 is perfect for this.. Kudos to Matt on his Design, Maybe this will open the Scale guys in using this Kit for the Mechanics.

 Thanks A lot Guy's, I have to say this was a good feeling to finally finish this 5 yr project. Kept going back and forth on Mechanics. Like mentioned before, if you guys consider building a scale, the E5 is the perfect platform!! a lot of versatility as well as perfect in size to work with. Of course once I fully finish this one,  I have another Primed and ready to shoot, this one will be done as the REDWOLF. Now that would be a cool little video... Thanks Again guys. Still got a Magnum Pi MD500D fuse just waiting.. Shit Chris I may need your wife to talk to mine! I might be in trouble. lol
