hey, thanx Mike and Chriss
the meter I have at this time is a cheapo $2 harbor fright and won't give me a proper continuity check,...
but like mike mentioned I'll give it a go in low hover for a few packs and see what comes of it.
I have to say, thunder packs are pretty darn durable or I was really lucky, after the motor cutt I was in a piro spin,...I noticed it locked and it took off spinning ridiculously fast,...something flung out but wasn't sure at the time what it was.
turns out it was the front lipo,..after picking up the pieces I found the lipo sread like a deck of cards fanned out,...MAGIC WOW!!!!lol
not so funny at the moment but afterwards I could laugh,...
I got everything home and checked the lipo on the charger,...remarkably the lipo still holds low IR on each of the cells so maybe I got away this time with it,,...
if all is well with the motor and esc then I have to say I got off cheap with this crash.
main blades, spindle, tt, boom, tail blades, tail push rod, and spur gear.
remarkably all else survived,....only a partial sacrifice to the heli gods,..
I hope they will be appeased and not rain fire on my village, lol
thanx again guys .
take care, stay safe.
Pete.
