Is the new 121T main gear compatible with the E7 pinions I already have or does it require new pinions?

Hi Rodney,

The new 121T Helical Main Gear is 'E7SE' Specific and uses a different helical angle to the original E7 116T main gear and pinions. The 121T main gear uses the same pinions as the E5 and are available in 12/13/14 and 15T versions.

Hope this helps
Cheers

Thanks Ross.  I thought I had read that it was a different angle.  I was having a hard time finding a 116T main gear in stock, anywhere.  I finally found one.

I just noticed that Ralph has a note on FBLrotors.com that the 116T main gear is discontinued.  Bummer... I just bought a hard anodized pinion for my E7.  That's me... perfect timing, once again.

Thanks guys. Since I have a few spare e5 pinions I just went ahead and ordered a 121t main.

That's nice that Matt has 121T machined into the new gear.  One of the things I really like about Synergy are so many little things that Matt thinks of, some of them that some people will never even notice.
