I had a slight head shake at 1850 when my kit was brand new. But after about 10 flights at 2050, the dampers are broke in and I have no shake at 1850.

How many flights on this frame?

Try 2050 and just fly it for a while. New dampners did not help when we have tried that on another E7.

Cheers

Try Taking your current Dampeners out and clean them and "Pinch them" several times. I had the same issue and adjusted the Head speed to 1550,1950,2050, Keep in mind I was within you rpm range before I hanged to the ones I listed. My shake is gone. Pinching the Dampeners was just an idea i had to loosen them up a bit, Like Breaking in a pair of shoes, tight as hell when you first put them on but once you wear them a bit they feel great (Not saying this had a positive effect on this issue) but it sure doesn't effect it negatively. lube the spindle so it moves freely from left to right in the head block with dampeners installed. if you can stay out of the 1700 -1900 rpm range and increase your head speed on the top end. I'm sure it will work fine. i personally solved my issue doing the above tasks and had Great Success. If you can run it around the 2050-2150 Range I bet you see it disappear. Keep us Posted of course. But try the Trick on "PINCHING" The Dampeners to accelerate the Breakin Time. It allowed mine to become more pliable and relax around the spindle a bit. I intend on reserving my (Idle up 1) to go through the head speed ranges and See if I can duplicate this, if I can't then I know my Dampeners played a big part in this, and by physically loosening them up helped.Good Luck.. ;)

Seems to be good now I got a couple flights on it today, smooth as butter at 2050. It has a slight shake at 1850 but seems to be getting better. Im loving this machine

It is likely that your dampeners are breaking in some.

Glad to hear you are liking it!

Cheers

Auddiss,

Spoke with Drew tonight, he said y'all are going to fly Sunday. I gave him a couple of things to look at. You will be in good hands.. I just saw your response, I told him earlier to try something with the dampeners.. Look forward to your feedback..

Didn't get the chance to fly with AudiSS, but he threw on 696's and he mentioned the vibe got better though out the day. Like to reiterate this is only at 1850, 2050 is fine.

Guys,

One thing to remember, by lowering the head we reduce the RPM ranges which will be available. We are essentially moving the CG further up which creates a sensitivity at certain RPM's. I personally run 1500-1600 and 1950-2150.
If you are dead set on running RPM ranges from 1700-1850, you may need to go back to the longer main shaft. The longer main shaft provides more stability "pendulum effect" at a wider RPM range.

Thanks,

Matt

Agree with Matt,

I have personally been putting numerous hours in on narrowing down the RPM range and Matt and I have spent countless hours looking at everything including theories. The conclusion is there is absolutely nothing wrong with this machine in regards to the design. The design fits the public's wants.." Performance and a lower head with integrated swash follower arms".  In order to get performance, sometimes you have to give up something. This is just it, keep the RPM ranges as suggested by Matt and the issue doesn't exist....It's a physics thing. Simply put.... Performance comes with a price, it's the nature of the Beast. Stay out of that RPM Range and FLY the Hell out of it! ;)  I am currently flying mine at 1550,1950,2150. and she is smooth as silk...

Best Regards,

Kevin

Thank you every one for the help, I appreciate it very much. I first posted on RR but wasn't getting the help this forum gave me. This is my first synergy machine and yes I do absolutely love it. Quality is fantastic and the support that comes with it is out of this world
