I want to go.  It is only about an hour and 20 minutes from my house.  Mind you, I've never met anybody besides me who flies RC heli's, so hopefully there are some people from the area there too.  I'll probably go and take the wife on Saturday.  Is it worth the $35 to fly?

If I were only going for the day I would still pay the $35 to fly.  Not sure how large the crowd will be but last year it was a good event to fly at.  Lines at the stations were never long.

Hey, if I have fun I may come back on Sunday...it just depends how much homework I have (I'm in my 3rd year of the ME program at Clemson)

Alrighty, well I just signed up for the fly, bought my wife lunch and dinner, and will plan to be there on Saturday.  I'm really looking forward to it- it will be my first RC heli event- actually first RC event period.  Maybe one of ya'll can help me figure out how to do tic-tocs- I'm having a hard time getting the rhythm going.  I doubt my E5 will be done by then, so hopefully showing up with a 450X won't be too gay..lol...
