Alrighty, well I just signed up for the fly, bought my wife lunch and dinner, and will plan to be there on Saturday.  I'm really looking forward to it- it will be my first RC heli event- actually first RC event period.  Maybe one of ya'll can help me figure out how to do tic-tocs- I'm having a hard time getting the rhythm going.  I doubt my E5 will be done by then, so hopefully showing up with a 450X won't be too gay..lol...

Well you'll just have to deal with it.  You know I am coming to the Synergy fold.  The sooner Ralph gets an E5 kit, the sooner I get to start building.  I have everything else now (I think . . .)

Just being able to do Tic Tocs is a plus. I can't even do a Tic let alone that Toc stuff. But I must say I really don't want to Tic Toc. I'll watch Alan and others do those mind boggling flights but if I see Amy Botos start doing them then the challenge is on. Ha, ha.

Arrived today at 0930 and this place is just awesome!!!!  This is the IRCHA place of all, they even water the grass runways.  Had some good flights today, even got head speed down to 1300 and all went well.  Alan even had a go at it and he is good to go.  If you are in the area you need to come on down/over if you can, what a place this is.  I'm by the Thunder Tiger tent if you come in and the camper with both American flag and the Army Retired flag along the tree line.  Drop on by and sit a spell.

I did not arrive until about 2pm.  Having a great time already.  Two N5C flights and one on the E5.  Of course I did get to play with Gary's low head speed E7.  Even flew a plank today...LOL...
It's going to be a great event.  Keep your fingers crossed on the weather for Saturday.  Not looking too good right now.

My canopy is about halfway between Gary's and the Esprit Tent.  Come look me up!

Cheers

What a day it was today. Great day to fly and watch others fly. There is this one young lady flying today that was just awesome!  She did some moves that I would never attempt to do like inverted. I saw her at IRCHA flying and she has gotten better. Her coach, a guy named Matt told me she has a long way to go but she is ok. Ha ha.

Saw a Heli take a swim today in the pond then the owner went in after it. He needed to cool off a little anyway. Then things got even better when a Goblin cashed then caught on fire. What a day it was!!

Had a good talk with a Team Synergy member that had a funny English dialect from Atlanta. Those Atlanta pilots sure have a Southern Draw in their talking. Ha ha. Let's see if he comes back with a post, if he does you will see the English draw he has.

Man I love this hobby/sport!  Until tomorrow, hope to see you here at the field.

As Gary said.  Another Great day here at Triple Tree.  The crashes were spectacular.  Just hate to see someone have to go swimming (or wading) for their heli.
This event has become my favorite of the  year.  This is my second trip.  It's small big enough to draw a decent crowd but still small enough to keep it enjoyable.
KevinM showed up today as well as the the "Rock".  Got to spot once for Amy on her first flight of the day,  Her nerves appear to settle down as the day progressed. :D   I think she flew more than many there including myself.  I had a total of 5 flights today and I did put the N9 up once.

Cheers

Alan, my wife and I are heading out when we get up in the morning.  I'll be bringing me E5 since you told me to bring it anyhow.  I am done with everything except attaching the links and flybarless, building the servo horns, programming the electronics, wiring, and attaching the blades.  See you tomorrow!

Well...another great time at Triple Tree!  Too bad weather didnt cooperate but it was such a joy to see everyone!  Alan, thank you for the window decal and it was great to see you!! Matt it was great to spend time with you and have a full conversation without you being pulled 50 different directions, lol!  Rock, glad I met you and thank so much for your help (as well as Matt) on my N5c!  I have to say it was pretty low key and I loved that!   I hope to see all of you real soon!!  Even though I experienced some electronic troubles that wont be resloved before the Swarm I'll see if I can still come to Georgia just to hangout and not worry with flying!  I like just talking with ppl anyway! :)
