Battery Strap

I crash my E5 this weekend.  It was particular crash.   I test my E5 without canopy one.  Use ing 5300mAh Spider battery, strap it down with two Velco, one in the middle and one at the front.  Flew couple minuted doing light 3D, tictoc... the battery flew out and chop by blade landed about 50 yards and heli just fall stright to the ground.

What can I do to make sure my battery is strap down tight.  Can anyone give me some tips and recomendation.  I am getting worry might happen again.

I use velcro under the battery as well to keep it from sliding and a velcro strap to hold it to the velcro underneath.

 Get the Scorpion straps, they have a rubberized coating on them that grips the pack.
I also use some Velcro on the pack and the frame bottom. Not a lot just a small piece at the front and back of the pack. It's not so hard to remove that way.

I agree with all the guys, myself I personally use a 1 inch squared piece of Velcro on the front portion of the battery tray. I have gone a step further to "Barrow"  my wife's (jar) opener. The round rubber deal that our lovely wives use. I have cut a couple of strips and glued it with 3M spray adhesive and stuck it to the bottom of the battricity tray..  Now strap that jewel down and I guarantee you it won't sling out much less budge... I use this stuff on the battery tray http://www.super-skids.com/Orangepad.htm with about a 1" square velcro patch near the front of the tray and I use the Scorpion battery straps.

Thank you  guys for all yours input....I did  used Velco under battery...but is hard to remove the battery after flight .. So used household non-slip formy pad from wife kitchen..cost to repair $440 not include ...lesson learn for me

I use Velcro underneath the batter on all batteries.  I also use male Velcro, the rough prickly side on both the frame and the battery on the flight batteries.

You might want to try the straps from Scorpion motors. They are rubberized and very tough. I use them with no additional Velcro and have never had a battery move not come loose.
