Can you run different nitro percentages like you can with the OS?
Correct me if I'm wrong guys...but to answer this it depends on what the manual says if calls for 15%-30% and if different shimming is required AND you will have to tune it accordingly to the percentage fuel your using. However, the biggest question is whats your flying style? This is purely an unprofessional guess but like the 105 I've heard from OS sponsored pilots that the 105 is
happiest on 15% or furthermore a 15-30 blend. Meaning mix a 15% and 30% to get 22.5%. In regard to the SRX I would run higher percent for harder 3D pilots....No?
Something else to be noted...if your use to OS engines then understand that the YS engines can be one click from unhappy. I saw a video of a guy flying the SRX, hit thr hold and after having landed it was idling high (lean) It sounded great in the air but I think the YS engines are happier being rich. An OS is much more forgiving. I am unbiased. This is what I have been seeing with a YS60 I have also. The OS sings a much different tune but the in ref to the YS60 when its spot on it pulls stinking hard!!
However, I have heard the same that guys are chucking their YS120's and going SRX and to add to that its suppose to be as tunable as the reliable YS91 3DS...I can't comment from experience though!
