The threads on the set screw stripped, the threads in the ball link adapter stripped, or the head of the set screw stripped so that you can't get it out with an Allen wrench?

When I tightened the ball link on to set screw it would not screw up, the set screw had stripped the ball adapter. I just ordered new parts , set screws and ball link adapters  I'll try again.

Check this step in the manual. If you don't pull the set screw behind the link itself you can damage the threads on the screw holding the link adapter on.

Is this the joint you are talking about?

Chris, got a email from Matt today he said some of the new kits went out with to small of set screws for the ball link adapter so he sending me some. He did not think the ball link adapters were stripped. We'll see if that takes care of problem.

Definitely let me know. I have contacted my set screw supplier to resolve the issue. Very strange to see such an odd size set screw!  :o
