14sg and switch glo pro
« on: April 20, 2014, 12:18:17 PM »
I am having a time getting this to work since I changed to the SBUS2 rx. 7008sb.. Anyone have some info on how to control the SWITCHGLO Pro on a switch say SC like I had it with the 6008?
Thanks,
Rick

Rick,

For example: On a Vbar you would plug the Switchglo Pro into the Aux 2 port and assign the Aux 2 channel 5. Then on the TX you would go to the Function menu, associate channel 5 with Auxiliary 2 and assign a switch.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Mark

I switched channel 3 (throttle) with channel 11 (aux1), I assigned  switch SA and the Dip switch position is 1on 2off 3on 4off on the switch glo. Which will give you the tx and beep. I had a hell of a time getting switchglo working like I wanted with 14sg. I couldn't get it to work on channel one or two. Hope this helps.

Yes.  Unless your FBL unit can output an Aux Channel you need a 7008SB.
You can use a SBD-1 SBus decoder also which will output 3 channel from SBus independent of the FBL unit.

I am running R7008sb receivers with CGY-750s on both my nitro helis and have the swtchglo pro plugged into the receivers.

When I was using an SK540 on my N5C, I had the swtchglo pro plugged into the extra swash servo port on it because it would output as aux2 when the swash type was set to a 3-servo type.
