Ball link pliers
« on: June 02, 2014, 05:21:56 PM »
Remember when you were a kid and you thought you could fix anything with a crescent wrench, pliers and a pry bar (AKA screwdriver).  I remember my father telling me, “SON, there is a correct tool for every job”.  That’s when I got my first set of actual tools, socket set, and open end wrenches.  Ever since then I’ve stuck by that motto. And with tools, (and most things in life) you get what you pay for.

Not too long ago fblrotors.com posted a new ball-link pliers “coming soon”, well that day came, and I can proudly say I was the first one to place and order, ordered two of those bad boys!!  The post man most of known I was impatient, ordered Saturday got them Monday!!

All I can say is…………..

Well, I’m at a loss for words.  All I know is, I’m going to have to clean out a drawer in the work table, line it with red velvet, accent mood lighting, and every time the drawer opens, a load WAAAA HAAAAA plays in the background!

These are superb ball link pliers. I went and started popping ball links off just because!!

Thank you FBLRotors for making a tool that’s worth every penny.

Just to be clear, I am not a sponsored pilot, and have no affiliation with FBLRotors.
I told my parents I wanted to be a pilot when I grew up; they said I could'nt do both...

I got mine yesterday.  I am VERY impressed with the quality of this tool. The machining on the business end is superb. I wonder if replacement ends will be available if the tool ever does break? Beautiful workmanship displayed on this tool.

dang, my $5 ones work just fine! hahaha. spread the ends of them out a little wider to work with the synergy balls, and boom! just fine.

Hi,

I have a pair for my N5c's and they work great on the helicopter balls.

But-----  for the ones on the servo horn, I am using Futaba, they are not thin enough to fit between the ball and the horn arm.    Am I missing something?    :-\
