Got to do my set up flights in the front yard in between rain so far so good.

What is everybody using to balance the Heli? I melted down some lead and strapped and glued to the boom clamps on the tail. Was trying to figure a way to make I mold so it would go down in between the tail box and boom.

Tommy,

It Looks Great!!! The one thing i want to CAUTION YOU ON is the Cyclic Servo Horns. I would recommend you use the Small JR servo Wheels, I also run 8717HV and I had some bad luck with those servo horns you were using. When you get this ol gal in the air and start really working it, those servo horns could break due to "stress/load" there is quite a bit of tension on those in regards to cyclic commands and overall flight. This is my opinion and It may very well differ from others however I would rather tell you now then Read About it if you catch my drift. ;) If you need some by all means I will be happy to send some to you. Other than that, She looks Great. You are going to really enjoy this Design and the way it flies!!

Cheers,

Thanks I have metal circle ones but they are not FBL and I had a crash with those and had to replace 2 servo cases!!  So i thought it would be better to have a weaker servo horn but not that weak. Do you have a part number for the horns you are talking about so I can order some

Are you going to make to the Port St. Lucie event? Hope to see ya there

Thanks again
Tommy

T,

No I won't make it after all Due to Work Load,  In regards to the Part Number,It is JRPA217 Rons Heliproz is where i got mine, Very Cheep!! I will say that they will Strip in the event of a hard crash, This is a good thing! You will be safe with them. I run mine 10mm from the center hole. Anywhere from 10MM-10.5MM is the sweet spot. Let me know if they are out of stock on the Wheels, I will dig some up and send them to you..  I just Had one of those ones your flying break under some heavy maneuvers and I was lucky I landed without incidence.. ;)

Sorry to hear you can't make it hopefully we will see you at OHB in Dec!!! Thanks for the part number I'm looking into the distance for the servo horns 10mm seems short for the Total G.

I run V-bar so it may be a bit different,  but its around 10-10.5 mm for the N5/N5c Now that's worked great with me...   And I will definitely be at OHB!!! thurs-Sun
