Airwolf Lives!

I finally finished ut the 600 size Airwolf today.  The mechanics are the E5 stretch on 6S.  Retracts have been a pain and may need some more tweaking but at least she flies  ;D
I will have it on display at IRCHA.
Sorry no video.

Cheers

Alan

Thanks guys.  Price wise it's now too bad. That is the RCAerodyne fuse and it came with retracts. Around $300. E5 stretch mechanics drop right in. I will end up moving the 6s battery to the ESC plate and put the ESC and BEC on the battery tray. This will help a little with the CG and also nose gear clearance.

Cheers
Alan

Only $300.  I was expecting more around the $1,000 range.  Very nice.

Nice.  Some day when I have more gray hair I would like to do a scale model.

I have contemplated building a scale just because of that show.  Blue thunder needs to be brought back to life.  Airwolf vs bluethunder throw down lol.

You think you have it bad with it playing in your head, When I built my E5 Airwolf last year, I literally watched every episode on Net Flicks to  one get me motivated since I've only been sitting on Both Airwolf Kits for 5 years. And 2nd to get all the flight Characteristics down to Immulate the Airwolfs Moves... I have to say I have probably $1,500.00 in mine and shelved it after 8 flights (flew Great! Just didn't want to crash it).  Alan was trusting enough and offered to let me fly his at Ircha and you want to talk about a nice machine! He has it set up perfectly..  I would highly recommend the Rcaerodyne Kit over the Century Kit any day... A scale aircraft requires a lot of attention and patience... And it is truly rewarding to see the crowd reliving there past when they see you fly one. I don't care who is on the flight line Smacking, you walk up to the next flight station with a Magnum PI Hughes 500D or Airwolf, all attention will shift!! Great Job Alan on the build.. I drug mine out last night, she will be recomissioned by the weekend... Now Mark needs to build the Red Wolf and we need to do a Demo like you said..  Someone needs to pony up and build the Sikorski S76 HX.  ;)
