I actually purchased an E5 last fall from Experience RC who made a pretty good deal with 556 blades and 95 tail. I have made a few upgrades since then with some FBL rotors parts. Did not really need them but I wanted to have the ease of the adjustable links. Also I liked their pitch lever. Have not put in the progressive dampeners since I am nowhere near good enough to notice a difference. Got a fancy E5 canopy from Heli-Direct. This is by far the most stable heli I own. Very well engineered and thought out. I don't plan a stretch as I bought it to be a 6 cell setup. My next heli will be an E7 hopefully in the near future.

Hope you enjoy your E5 as much as I do.  My stock E5 gets the most flight time in my fleet.  The simplicity of using a single 6S pack has much to do with that.  My second favorite is the E7SE.

This is a size comparison between the E5, E5 stretch, and E7SE.

I recently sold the E5 stretch airframe because it was the only size heli in my fleet using the 6S 3,300mah packs.  It flew awesome though.

My Synergy's are right in center; the easiest ones to pull in and out.

Great Looking fleet, I always look forward to your posts here and on HF. I originally gave thought to stretching my E5 but why mess with perfection. I love the 6 cell setup and ease. You have some pretty serious setups in the back of your vehicle. When you get hooked on Synergy products, it's hard to like anything else. I see you have a Goblin and people like them. As neat as they are, I can't wrap my head around getting one since my friends who have crashed them end up with a huge rebuild cost and they tend to have a lot of damage. I see you are from Maryland, I was from there but couldn't wait to get out of the DC area due to traffic and cold.

If it were up to me, I still be back in Texas.

I like the Goblin 570 fuselage look with all the pretty colors.  It's departure from the traditional pod and boom style is a breath of fresh air.  Still, despite its higher cost and prettier looks, it's mechanics and overall quality are no match for the beefy and robust E5.

I have a E5 E5s N5c N7 and love them all. The E5s is fun and I have it setup in a 10s configuration, but like you said the ease of the E5 6s makes transport easy. I get extra flights with the e5 because it fits in the nose of the airplane I fly so it travels well.. LOL.

Welcome dbrc! I've been hanging with several of the Synergy guys for a little while but just joined the team last week myself.

I look forward to seeing you at some events and on the forum!
