Crashed N5c...
« on: October 05, 2014, 09:11:18 PM »
Psych!!!!  Actually  had a tip over when I hit throttle hold instead of idle-up and the bird was sliding away from me fast to the left. I FREAKED out and instead of just flipping back on the power I focused on stopping the sliding and getting her on the ground. I made it but not without a tip over! Busted one link to a main grip. That's it! Nothing else. No blade damage or anything! That was on second flight of an 8 flight day. The heli Gods were with me is all I can think. I guess I need to go out into the front yard and just drive my 450 into the street as a sacrificial lamb now to somehow get back to even!

Hope is not a strategy!
