I think it's more a matter of none of us want to speak for Matt :)

That said, Chris only speaking here, I don't see the need personally.  There is an argument for added thrust on a tail to allow for slower tail setups, but the cyclic "feelings" in my opinion don't out weigh the added costs in building, and crashes. Seems like the 2 bladed head remains the mass production option.

Again just my opinion.

I would still like to see 3 blade Rail blade sets even if Matt doesn't want to go the 3 blade route with his airframes. It wouldn't take much to do, just matching up some sets into 3 instead of 2 for both tail and main blades. There are a lot of options for 3 blade setups now, I spend some time today matching up some 325mm Rails to get a 3 blade setup for a Blade 360 3 blade conversion (not mine) as an example. With the 325mm it's not too bad to buy a few sets to do the matching but it is more of an issue with the bigger blades.

So Matt, please consider this even if you don't move there with your heli's.

I wasn't particularly looking for any added thrust Chris.  I was looking for the "wow this is really cool looking and sounding factor".  I agree with you 100%  about the cost of mass producing a three blade upgrade plus the time required to get a set of three blades put together. In a package that is usable for the guy buying them.

I also like the fact that you can run a lower head speed with them and that compliments my style of flying.

I just like the way a three blade head looks.  The Goblin boys are sure "gobbling" them up. (Pun intended).

I recently had the chance to fly a few different three bladed models, I was amazed at the increased collective and cyclic response. I for one would definitely give it a go if there was a head available for the synergy line.  It would be fun on my e7.

Roger,

I had the opportunity to fly a tri goblin and the Blade 360 with the 3 bladed head, both flew very well.  I've also flown both models with the standard 2 bladed heads so I have a standard to go off of. I really like the feel of the tri rotor heads.
