Heli Extravaganza 2015
« Reply #15 on: September 04, 2015, 10:45:18 PM »
Well, I have the time off!!! It's approved I can go!

However life is creeping up again and most likely will have to pass this time. I cut back on my work load this year to spend more time with my family and flying. LOL

My father is having some driving issues/getting older. And has been pulled over and crashed both cars in the last few months four or five times maybe more. So I had to put on my big boy pants and take his cars away, which is very odd.  And his house burned up in February and we are rebuilding it now. No big deal right?

Won't bore you with the details. I'm a little depressed about it, just wanted to try out a smaller fun fly and meet new heli folks. So in leu of this, its all I can do not to by the new V control and Neos for all five Synergies during this weekends sale!!!! Looks like it would simplify managing five birds. six with the 766 coming. Intervention please, talk me out if it!

Well... It was wet. But, a good many flights happened. It was great to meet those who came and finally put a face to the guys that have helped me here and on other forums. Even with the wet weather, I had a great time. Chris, please plan on coming back next year.. I know it was kind of a bummer.. I did like seeing u fly with ur little boy.. That was awesome! The Synergy Team was great.. Nice meeting & talking with u all.. Hope to see u guys again soon.

Clay, we had a good time!  It was very wet but we still found time to fly between the showers. Aidan had a blast! He is definitely going to be my flying buddy. Next time I will bring more down time activities for him as the normal phone stuff didn't work so well without internet.

I hope to make this a regular event for me, the local events I normally go to in the fall are dying off so it's nice to still have one last bang of the year. OHB is a long haul for me so that's not realistic right now.
