- Light Weight (doesnt "need" 10k watt motor to get it moving)
- Simple, clean design w/servos oriented "as they should be" IMO (ie..almost perfect 90deg to swash balls)
- Delrin Helical Main gear - beefy, and I like it quiet
- Counterbearing on pinion
- Tidy frames, plenty of room for elect. and *seems like* more room for a variety of pack sizes
- Parts availability/support....site shows 16 dealers! (I like/own Compass and Mikado, but sort of a bummer they are supported by only one vendor in US)
- The designer/owner of the company posts on the forums almost daily....this can't be a bad thing.....
- good price for what seems to be great quality...
- and...sort of a joke from a thread in another forum....I DIG THE CANOPY....lol
There are a lot of good 700 helis hitting the market...and for me, it was between the MA whiplash, e7 and SAB goblin. I really like the whiplash and would prefer to support a heli made in US...but my one major concern was weight. From what I've seen it requires a serious power system to move it around...5k packs seem necessary....whereas the e7 offers more versatility, from lighter weight packs (sub 4k mah) with 'smaller' motors to big 5k packs and 10kw motors. The Goblin is IMO a breakthrough design but it seems a little bit too exotic right now.
