I'd start with the ones that came with the servos. If none of those are suitable, then look at some of the other options mentioned.

i was going to order the mks 9767 servos but this arm discussion is confusing me.
the arms that come with the servos are not suitable for the the 516?  we should be ordering other arms to use?

As long as the arms provide 15-16mm ball spacing, they should work.

I use the MKS horns with 17mm on my 516. Cyclic throw is perfect on my Vortex. And it flies awesome too.

Be advised that the Dubro super strength arms may result in stripped servo gears in a crash. They’re that tough and rigid. They also have more clearance from the servo case, which might throw your geometry off. I’d advise the regular arms if you’re going Dubro.

I'm Using the Futaba aluminum 20mm single arms. The second hole is 16mm distance so I just drilled it and tapped 3mm then red locktited the balls in...
Please, provide a part description or weblink for these Futaba arms with 16mm holes.

As always if you are using metal gear servos then use plastic servo arms. That will save some heartache :)
Why is this? Is it for crash safety or some sort of RFI thing?

Thanks.
