516 at 1700

forgot I had the little mobius camera, so I'd flown this pack a couple minutes before I put the camera on.  Still has nice oomph at 1700 for the old fart style of flying. Need to get it slower but already have way too much overhead with this motor at 1100kv,.. need something about 1000

Hacker A40 10L , 1100KV. 16 tooth pinion, talon 90, and 6s/5000 venom packs.

this is an old motor, and was one of the first A40's from about a decade ago. The current version is improved and would be more efficient, but this one works so I'm not going to spend $120 to replace it.

The caveat is that the shaft on these motors is short so i cut a length of 5mm shaft to make it long enough to extend through the support bearing, and green locktited that shaft extension into the pinion.  I think it was a spare shaft for E5 front transmission that I cut to length.

Tail is using a 15 tooth pulley from stock drive products to get 6.0 to 1 ratio for the lower headspeeds.
