Main blade grips

Hi all, I only have a dozen flights on my new 516 and the main blade grips have developed a mm or more of slop, spindle bolts are still on tight.
Is this normal, should I remove and check/shim or just fly as is?
I'm not sure what to do as I haven't had this issue with my other helicopters before.

I have over 50 flights on my 516 and theres no noticeable play in the main spindle. Assembly was as per the manual.

I would say its definitively not normal to develop the play you've noticed after 12 flights and suggest you strip the head as you suggested to confirm all parts are ok and reassemble being sure to follow the assembly manual for the 516.

Agreed. Check the thickness of the 4 shims, compare with the manual.

+1. It's easy to accidentally interchange the damper shims and thrust bearing shims. I did that on one side during my build; I discovered it because I had slop on that side.

I have over 200 flights on mine no head slop at all. Time to tear head down something not right.

Thank you all, I shall strip it down and see what I find.

For those wondering.
I took the head apart, everything was as it should be as per the manual.
So I ordered some new dampers, put those in and put it back together and it’s all nice and snug again.
I’ll see how it goes now, cheers.
