Servo questions
« on: July 18, 2019, 09:52:55 PM »
Guys on my new E5SS I have JR 8717 cyclic servos and a JR 8900G tail servo. I have a Castle Creation pro bec on it. I have been reading and heard from other people that these are high output servos and could cause a brownout. What's the best way to not allow this to happen? I seen people installing compacitors on their receivers before but what do you guys suggest? One my funds come together my setup is listed below:
Synergy E5SS
Castle Creation ICE 120HV or Talon 120HV
Scorpion HK4025-890kv
JR 8717
JR 8900G
Futaba CGY750
Futaba R6303SB or R7003SB
Futaba 14SGH

After doing some research I think I am going to change my tail server to a Futaba BLS251 and run the entire system at 6.0V. I have read on the forums that people have run this setup at 6.9V and it seems to work perfectly. Any input on this. The rest of the setup above is correct at this point. Cant wait to get this bird in the air.
