I run my E6 at 2300rpm and my e7 at 2150. Very happy with the performance at those rpms.  ;D

My E7 with Hacker 470kv and 14T likes anything above 1900. At 2000 it is just about right for my slow easy 3D stuff. The motor just starts to get into its power band with this gearing around 2050. The ship can still haul the freight plenty fast at 2000 rpm

+1 fpr answers above!

The head speed operating range is pretty wide, it all depends on your flying style and how long you want to fly.

I've seen everything below..

E6 - 2150 - 2400
E7 - 1600 - 2200

Thanks,

Matt

For my style of flying, I would most likely be running a head speed in the rage of 1950-2200.  I would like to get 6 minutes of flying on 12S 4000-4400 maH packs too.

4400 mah batteries with the 470kv Hacker + 14T pinon at  2000rpm will get you 6 minutes plus of easy sport flying. If you fly around a lot at full throttle or higher than 2000 rpm all the time, maybe much less so... ;)
