Servo wire routing

I was having some trouble getting the servo wires routed cleanly on my N5C. I found a nice solution and I am really happy with the results. I took my dremel and cut an opening in the divider between the aft two cyclic servos. I also radiused the edge of the hole between the center and front servos and along the top edge of the opening at the front. I was then able to feed each of the servo wires internally through the mount and into the area below the battery tray. I was also able to feed the governor sensor wire along the same path. I did have to remove the plug from the leads as the aft hole is a little narrow, but not a big deal.

I routed mine all neat like on the out side. God forbid anyone look under the battery/receiver tray though. Up inside there is a nest of epic proportions that rivals most squirrels.

Here are a few pics of the wiring. I used a little piece of the left over fuel tank isolator along the top edge of the battery tray to protect the wires. I also made a little antenna mount, which I will redo as it looks a little hackish. More of a test to see how it works for now.

I just don't have the patients. I will start out by slowly routing the wires around and then when I still end up with a ball I say oh hell with it and shove the ball in somewhere hidden.

With the way it's wired you can dis-mount the gov sensor and remove the top- front frame spreader and the whole servo block/ FBL unit can be removed as an assembly. Makes it very easy to bundle the wires up front that will be under the tray. I used to do the wire braid thing, but it's a heck of a lot easier to just hide them.
