Yes, for E7, just fine. A bit heavy for E6 but will work OK if you don't mind a rather heavy disk loading.

Yes you can run this set-up on your E7, I run 4500 just to reduce the weight a little.

Anyone seen a weight chart of popular batteries?  I've seen lots of discussion about 4400 versus 5000,  but  while looking for my first E7 batteries I see that some 5000 weight 800 grams and some weigh 1086.  I've seen 4400mah that weigh as much as lighter 5000mah batteries.
Example (65C batteries)
Turnigy 6S 65C 5000mah = 1081g
Turnigy 6S 65C 4400mah = 985g
VT510065C6S Voltz 5100mAh 6S 22.2V 65C  = 863g
Pulse 6S 65C 5000mah = 816g
Thunder Power 5000mAh 6-Cell/6S 22.2V 65C  = 804g
GENS ACE 4400 mAh 65C 6 Cells Lipo Battery = 715g
TP4400 6S (22.2V) = 705g
Lightest config I've found ThunderPower 4400 705g.
So if you take heaviest Turnigy 5K - TP4400::
 1081-700 = 376 * 2 batteries = 1.7 lbs difference in flying weight!
But you could get the Voltz 5100 versus TP4400 for  .7 lb penalty.

Any favorites out there?  I've been out of the electric scene for a while and looking for some good quality for 3D flight.

The TP packs are in my opinion the best performing and longest lasting lipos available. That said - a lot of people are having good luck with Gens Ace, Voltz, and other packs you listed to fit their budget and weight preference.

I run 2 TP 6s 4400 65c packs in the E7 and get around 5 minutes of flight time.

I run the TP 4400 mah 65c batteries in my E7.  They are much lighter than most 5000 mah packs on the market.

Gens Ace 25C 4000mah are working great on my E7.  Super-light setup (10.5lb AUW) and I can still get 5 minutes running at 1800rpm.

I have some Gens Ace 4000 25c, great packs. I do 4 min at 2100 on E7 or 5 min at 2300 on E6 on them.

I also run the Gens Ace 25C 4000 packs and I can get up to 8 mins of pirouetting upright flight. 7 mins of hard sport flight and 6 mins of my version of 3D.

The Gens Ace are great packs and keeping my E7 at 10 lbs 6 oz makes for a perfect helicopter.

I have been running Sky Lipo 4000's 40c on the E6 and getting a solid 6-1/2 minutes at 2050. On the E7 I have Sky's 4400 packs and get 6 minutes no problem at 1950.  All 12S...

Off topic sort of... Has anyone seen pics on Ralph's battery tray? Spoke with him this past weekend and he indicated they were I the works and Matt would be looking at them this week.

Cheers
Alan
