Elevator servo wheel lower ball
« on: August 28, 2012, 01:12:08 PM »
I'm using DS610 servos on my N5C and on the elevator servo (balls on inside of wheel) the lower ball rubs on the servo case. Is it better to put a washer between the splined shaft and wheel or grind the face of the ball down? Or is something else wrong?

Unfortunetely, that's normal for Align servos.  I just let mine rub but I think grinding the ball a few thousandths would be the way to go.  Futaba servos have plenty of clearance. :)

I had one rub with the align servo also.  I grinded it down and it has been fine.
