How to remove clutch one way
« on: June 13, 2016, 02:03:08 PM »
Hi guys.
My N7 clutch one way bearing is broken. I can't get out the one way from the clutch. Any tip there?

It takes a press to do it right, and make sure you check the engaged rotation of the new bearing before you press it in.

If you don't have access to a press you can also use a couple sockets and a vice to press the bearing out.

Yep! Match the up close tho... It's possible to damage the bearing.

good job man. I have never been successful removing one from a clutch before. I can get them out, its getting the new one back in that I have never been able to correctly.
