I was thinking I would like to do the Magnum PI MD500 someday.
Not sure about using a 5 bladed head though?

I agree the Magnum PI one would be cool. That one looks great also.

cliff at RC Aerodyne has the Fuses as well as all the other items,(5 blade heads) everything. I used a Century Fuse for both the Air-wolves however the Magnum Fuse is an RC Aerodyne. I love the way there fuses allow accessibility to the battery, electronics. there airwolf fuse is pretty cool as well as there Retracts when they have them in stock.. Ralph's son Robert works there.. (Not Saying Discounts) but he has been there for a while, and Cliff is awesome to deal with. Plus if you buy a Fuse from him and have a mishap (God Forbid) he will sell the "Crash Replacement" at a Discounted price. I want to say like Half Off.. don't quote me. They have tons of other helis to choose from.  Chris knows, once you build one it get addictive! Best part of it though that I truly love is being able to fly it like the real helicopters! it truly made me a better pilot in regards to Orientations and certain combinations (Like Flaring the MD500 when landing and kicking the tail around). I just don't recommend Nitro Scales due to Mess and the will begin to stink like a dirty gym sock after a while.. Reason I sold off my Nitro Magnum PI MD500. lol  Any Questions feel free to ask... Chris S,  has built these also.

My first Scale was an Airwolf 450 with retracts, LOVED IT! So sorry I sold it :(

My current scale is a HeliArtist MD500 with a 500e stuffed in it.

My next scale project was going to be 700 Super Scale. Probably an AS350 from RC Aerodyne.

BUT having now seen an E5 used in a 600 Wolf... That brings a whole new perspective!!!
