Reasons for another Helicopter
« on: March 15, 2013, 10:36:19 AM »
Maybe a difficult question !!
All of us have some or many helicopters, and we always have a good reason for that.
Goblin users says his machine is the fastest and visible, Mikado fans says is a floating and precise helicopter, Gaui or Compass owners have your preferences, the Align users says this is a very good machine with good price for the kit..
All of us.... have the best machines !!  ;D
I am thinking to buy a Synergy E5 and I would like to know the reason why a Synergy E5 - E6/E7 owner needs or use another helicopter brand ??
Is there any area of performance or quality better in the other helis than the Synergy ?

Hard to say without being a cheerleader. But lets just say I've flown lots of different kinds of helis and every different one has it's strong points and their weaknesses. For me Synergy just flies right, quality is up there with the best of them. My suggestion is if you like it try it out and then you can make up your own mind, one thing is for sure you will not be disappointment.

Other than my 130X... I sold my last non-Synergy, a 6HV, and now have only Synergy helis.  I have an E5, N5c, and an E7.  Right now, I have no interest in any other brands.

VBAL,

Every person with the exception of one that I have let fly my E7 or E5 have bought one or the other the list continues to grow every month.  Money was the obstacle for the individual who didn't purchase yet and he is saving for it now.  I think this is a pretty good indicator of the flight characteristics of either Synergy machine.  I like most others here did not start with Synergy helicopters.  I went Blade, Align, Century before arriving here.  First you need only to see the Synergy line in person to appreciate the quality of the parts and engineering that went into the design.  As of today my E7 has 408 flights on it in less than 9 months.  My E5 has 196 flights in less than 5 months.  I have no part failures of any kind.  There is no noticeable wear on the gear trains of either machine.  Both of my machines fly beautifully but, when they are in need of maintenance everything is easily accessible.  Another often overlooked area is support.  Have you taken a few minutes to read some of the threads on this forum?  You won't find a better group of helpful, knowledgeable people than exist on this forum.  There is a reason that we welcome new Synergy owners to the "Synergy Family" when they introduce themselves.  We are a family!  My advise would be to fly all of the manufactures models that interest you.  Talk to the people that fly them not only about performance but, maintenance, durability, support, parts availability, build and the dreaded crash repairs.  If you can't find anyone that will let you fly a Synergy come on down I'll let you fly mine.  I am a Synergy "Cheerleader" and I make no apology for it.  I'm not sponsored, I'm not a Synergy Team member and I can fly anything I wish.  I found a high quality product, supported by great people that is durable and looks and flies great.  If you fly a Synergy it won't be long before we will be welcoming you to the Synergy family.  Paint and hype only go so far take the Synergy challenge you won't be disappointed.  If you have any specific questions we are here to answer them.

I too started with other brands. I really don't have a problem with other brands to this day. What I did do however is buy my first Synergy at IRCHA the year before last and fell in love. I bought it based on seeing an original N5 and had to have the N5c. Minus the 130x I became all Synergy minded.

Well said guys! The quality from the manual to each and every part of the kit is truly amazing. I agree try to see one either fly or up close and you will see the difference. Good luck with your decision :)

First off, I sold everything that didnt have a Synergy logo...just fyi. BUT having said that, I'll be the different one, heres a reason as to why some folks maybe buy something else.  Every heli flys different, some are extremely fast and aggressive and others are smooth and graceful.  Theres trade off's, so I would say it depends on what your looking for.  For me, Synergy gives me the the best of all worlds, its hands down the smoothest heli I've ever flown, but can be flicked around hard 3D with the best of them.  But alot of this is in setup or power system choices.. I personally like a smoother heli whether doing 3D or fast forward/big air. I'm not a young buck anymore so may be I go that route becuz I dont have the reflexes like the early 20's guys.  So, it depends on what area or style your trying to feed if that makes sense.
