One Way Bearing Inspection
« on: November 25, 2013, 11:52:32 AM »
Is there any kind of O-ring inside the bearing/hub?  I was inspecting a E7se that I purchased used, but never flown and when I put the auto hub sleeve back in what looked like an O-ring came out...

Uhmmm  there is no o-ring in assembly, could be the one-way bearing roller retaining plastic insert. Inspect both ports of the bearing to see if one insert is missing.

Interesting!  Well, I pulled the whole hub and put a new one in that I had as a spare.  Curious, can you order just the bearing?  Part number?  I would like to rebuild this one and have a spare again...

On-way bearing is 108-119. Frankly I would not try to press it out and replace it. Not worth the pain imho. A small extra will get you the whole auto-hub assembly 200-407.
