Does it matter which way the anti rotation bracket goes on?
« on: April 24, 2013, 06:38:05 AM »
Hi, the anti rotation bracket has a notch cut out of it and I can't see from the instructions which way it goes on. Is the notch actually there for a purpose?

Cheers,

Ali

Don't worry about the notch. As long as when the swash is on the bearing on the anti rotation pin is down in the anti rotation guide with the swash level, you'll be fine. But if you're still concerned with it most people that I've seen have the notch facing the back of the heli, towards the boom.

The anti-rotation guide was originally an N9 part.  The notch allowed clearance for a pushrod.  On the N5/N5c it doesn't matter which side the notch faces.
