Outrage Torq servo BL9180
« on: June 04, 2013, 09:57:04 AM »
Well I sold my Goblin for a Synergy E5. The Goblins electronics were stripped and kept for the Synergy but today I found a snag! My Outrage Torq servo BL9180 don't fit!!!! ARGGGG! Now frustration is setting in! Is there anyone here that successfully fitted  BL9180's on the cyclic? Please chime in ... I hope I can shim them somehow. I hate the thought of having to purchase servos for this build! Your input would be appreciated!

Cheers
Mike

Congrats!  On the Torq's I think shimming is required.  I haven't used them before myself.
I am sure someone will chime in here.

Try using the servo plates 106-115 as shims.  They should be readily available.  You will just need to order extra.

Yep put a servo plate like Alan linked behind the cyclic servos and you are golden :) Know a few E5 pilots with those servos, they rock! No need to shim tail servo.
