Okay, I think I've pretty much got the CGY-750 set up now but I have a couple of questions on the governor. I think I have the concepts down but want to double-check.
My first question is under Yaw rate compensation there are four choices. I have the gyro mounted on top but what directions are considered CW and CCW?
Here's how I am planning on setting it up, does this sound valid?
I'm going to set the throttle curve for NORMAL to a linear curve (0-100) and use the stick switch setting to engage the throttle. If I set the stick switch to, say 40%, that will let me spool it up to 40% throttle and then the governor should kick in and go the governed RPM setting for NORMAL, right?
In the expert settings if I set the Throttle mode to Optimize I only need to set my throttle curves for IU1 and IU2 to a flat curve that's above the 40% that I have set my stick switch set to, right?
I set the RPM settings that I wanted in my transmitter. When I looked in the CGY governor setup menu, I can see it switch between the three RPM settings but the RPM numbers do not match what I entered in my transmitter. Is this normal? I went ahead and just changed them in the CGY so that they would match what I really wanted but I thought I could just change them in the transmitter and the changes would be reflected in the CGY. Is there a step, or something, that I'm missing?
Thanks,
Rodney
