E7se has took flight
« on: July 20, 2013, 09:35:41 AM »
Well I finally finished the E7se and did a quick flight to check gain settings and it flew excellent. Can't wait till tomorrow to fly more. I must say that canopy is hard to put on and off. Got to find the trick to getting it on. Head speed at 1901 and it floats like a butterfly. Thanks to all for the help and look forward to seeing everyone at IRCHA.

Congratulations Gary on your successful maiden! No better feeling than that after a successful build.
Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee?  :D

Cheers,
Mark

Thanks, it for sure floats. Did a auto and thought it wasn't going to come down, totally different from my Trex 600 which drops like rock. Would like to know if anyone is going with a lower head speed than 1900? What's the lowest you can go and still have some collective control?

The canopy gets easier after taking it on and off a few times.

Convert the front to magnetic mounts. Way easier.

Thanks. Alan showed me how to use the quick connect by taking them out (lower ones) and after the tops are connected then line up the lowers and push the connectors in. It works good. I have seen the magnitcs come lose and go through the blades.

Thanks Alan for the help you gave me this past week. You for sure tought me a thing or two. You are why I like Team Synergy so much, your dedication to helping others is what it's all about. You and Bill really helped me when I needed it the most. Although we didn't get it smoothed out it does fly and will work with it more when I rebuild it.  Did I tell you I Dumb Thumb it into the ground?? Well I have some building to do before South Carolina fun fly. Hope to see you there or at the swarm in Georgia.
