E7 Electronics setup recommendations?
« on: October 03, 2013, 06:44:50 AM »
I'm receiving my E7 tomorrow and I just wanted a quick electronics recommendation. I currently have a kontronics jive 120HV, futaba 255HV cyclics/ 256HV Tail /VBAR Blueline. Any motor or alternate ESC recommendations?

Hello!

Congrats on the E7 :)

I run the same servos on mine. The helijive is a great esc will work great for most of the motor options. I like the 4525 520 ultimate and the 4530 500 le. Both are great fits for this helicopter.

I have also ran the Hacker A50-12L 470kv. Works well. Many love the KDE 700xf 495. I am also hearing great things about the new Castle Vertigo 700.

As you can see the E7 is a very versatile platform and there are many great motor options.

Experience RC has an awesome price on the Hacker A50-12L 450KV Turnado V3 right now.  I was running a Hacker in mine, at first, and was very happy with it.
