I don't believe we have any reports of that. I assume you have the correct brace? Hard to tell from the angle of the photo. Are you sure you have not used the lateral frame brace 317-104? It does does not have countersunk holes. Also assume you have checked both sides of the the 315-105. Not to be demeaning but we do need to cover all the possibilities. Could you post another photo showing the whole brace?
If you do have a faulty part then we will get you a correct one or you can easily countersink the holes. We need to know either way though.

G'day Alan, I have definitely got the correct piece (315-105), but I did make a mistake when referencing the page numbers in the manual as it is actually page 7 that I was referring to not page 9.
I've spoken to one of the other fellas with a kit also from the first shipment to Australia and he had the same issue. Please see the three attached photos for reference.
It's not a great problem as I will just use some hex cap head screws instead of the supplied ones.
All in all it's been a great kit thus far and I am pleased with the tolerances that everything is manufactured to, although I've had a other small problem with the little threaded barrels that go inside the landing skids that the legs screw into. One of them had next to no thread in it and it stripped out with only finger pressure on the hex driver. Once again nothing I can't fix relatively easily.
