My N7
« on: January 10, 2014, 03:17:21 PM »
Here's mine:

Futaba CGY-750
4X RJX FS-0521HV on cyclic and throttle
Futaba BLS-256HV rudder
Switchglo Pro
O.S. 105HZ-R
Hatori SB-22FH
Rail Blades 696/106

The first gallon of fuel I ran through it was Torco 30% and now I've changed the shims in the head and I'm running CoolPower 15%.  This thing is just a flippin' beast!  I'm having way too much fun with this helicopter.

Nah, the sun was shining and it was a balmy 36 degrees that day.  It felt like it was 70 out after the teens we were having. :)

Awesome Rodney.  Looks great.  Will keep my finger crossed that your balmy weather continues for a least a little while.
 :D
Cheers

Been snowing. :-\  It did get all the way up to 41 today so there is hope for the weekend. Even with the crappy weather I've still managed to burn two gallons through it so far.

I started out just under two years ago with a Blade 450X and mCPx.  After those, I moved up to a 600 and then 700 electric.  I kept reading all the negative posts about nitro.  "It's messy", "it's stinky", "no power compared to electric", etc.  I am so glad that I took the plunge with the N5C.  I have enjoyed every second of owning the N5C.  I have found nitro to be anything but a hassle and I believe it's more convenient (for the most part) because I don't have to worry about babysitting a bunch of giant batteries.  There's also something about that glow motor screaming away during flight that just makes it seem more like a "real" helicopter to me.  A couple of my fellow mechanical engineers at work have watched me fly both and they all felt the same way and said it was a lot more fun to watch the nitro birds fly.

Anyway, all those words just to say DAMN THIS N7 IS AWESOME!
