kit availability?
« on: March 15, 2014, 09:14:21 PM »
None of the dealers I checked, including Matt's own store, have the E5 in stock.

I seem to recall Matt or Amy posting a month or more ago that manufacturing was catching up after the Chinese New Year holiday but I have not been able to find that post.

Any update on when kits will be available?

Hmm. Had a bad customer service experience with Experience RC last year. Would prefer to give my business to someone else...

Thanks for looking, though!

I guess the wait gives me a little more time to decide which FBL controller, motor, ESC. My other helis are vBar, which I'm happy with, but maybe it's time to try something new just for fun. For power, leaning toward 6S with the KDE 600XF-1100.

Just my honest opinion, if it works use it.  I stuck with the Cgy because it has worked great for me and the latest version is as close to plug and play as I have experienced. I have a KDE700xf-495 on 12s in my e7. The motor is a beast!  The only complaint I have is that the most horsepower I have seen is 6.6hp, and the motor will put out 15hp.  I am only complaining because I could have gone with the 4035-560kv with the 120amp CC esc. Which would have saved me 1.5lbs.

What I am trying to say is I wish I would have thought it out more, but hindsight is always 20/20 right?..

Strictly my opinion and should be taken as such.
